This tutorial shows you how to set up Entourage to work with your e-mail account. This tutorial focuses on setting up Entourage. If you are using a different email program, please click on our support tab for more instructions.
On Account Settings, enter your information as follows:
Account Name = Any name for your email account (for example, "Work Account", "Home Account", or "News Account").
Name = Your first and last name.
E-mail Address = Your email address.
Account ID = is the first part of your email address. Example: youremail (we ignore the '@yourdomain.com').
IMAP server = mail.alpinewebsites.com
Password = Your email account password.
SMTP server = mail.alpinewebsites.com
Click on the"Click here for advanced receiving options" button.
Click on the Click here for advanced sending options button.
Make sure the Override default SMTP port check box is ticked and the Port number is 8025.
Make sure the SMTP server requires authentication. Use same settings as receiving mail server checkbox is ticked.
Confirm all dialogues and your email is now setup.
